well i am getting trouble from ej, so i decided i better get on the blogging....here is a picture from my maui pairing...it was a beautiful sunset, that i saw from my balcony....i was suppose to be taking a nap, but who can sleep when that is right there...imagine that EVERY night?? hawaii is a beautiful place...its my happy place...serenity serenity...i dont have all that much to report..i am suppose to be working right now, but i am sick...i have a bit of a head cold, and my ears were acting up on my pairing, so thats that....
i have a story from my pairing....i decided that i wanted to run on one of my maui pairings, so i went along the beach with my F/O. (first officer for those who dont follow aviation lingo:P) mind you, the FO use to be a marathon runner....he mentioned this but i naturally forgot...so we are off and running along the beach and let me tell you..sand is the best work out i think i have ever done in my life...especially when you havent been running in a while, and the person you are running with sets the pace at a run pretty much..not a jog haha...so picture us running and then heyy look, there are three steps up..(we are running off the beach now) stairs?? thats eeeeeasy..sooo i start up the stairs and i unfortunately miss the first one...and i fell flat on my face...i still have the markings from it...the FO was just staring at me and then he started laughing..he said it was the funniest thing ever...i had a mark on my upper thigh, and 3 war wounds on my ankle/foot...let me tell you...when i want to hurt myself i go ALLLLLL out....anyways the story is much better in person..well i think it is...enjoy the sunset...it will be a while before i see any of those again...
